I'm not following you, isn't the Pole Position an UHPS Tire? wouldn't the best tire for any casually driven 9-5 would probably be some kind of grand touring style?

My buddy has the pilot energy's on his merc c300. Tread wear isn't great but they're smooth, quiet, they have a super low rolling resistance too i think. He also pushes them quite hard though.

So I decided on the Sumitomo HTR Z III 235/45/17. I actually turned down a set of pole positions for them, but they were used and not really what I was looking for. I should get them on tomorrow, Ill post my first impression.
