N00b here!

Hai guise!

I'm here because I sold my Honda Del Sol last night and I'm on the hunt for an NG900!

Tuner4Life (Jason) is my best friend and has reincarnated my childhood desire for an NG900. Back in high school I wanted one in the worst way, but at the time they were still $5,000 to $7,000. I'm finding them in my price range now.

My ideal one is a 900SE two door five speed turbo. I know that's a long shot, and it seems like the two doors are just flat out hard to find in general and demand a higher price when found.

I'll be creating a thread in the 900 section to figure out a good one to buy.

Anyway, on to me:

I'm 22 and a junior at Purdue University in Indiana majoring in management. I currently have a near mint condition 1976 Toyota Celica GT. That's my baby. I've had three Volvo 850's (One GLT and two T-5's, one being a wagon). On top of that I have had several other cars, most of which were Toyotas.

I was born in Chicago and moved to this hell hole of a state. I've always HATED being called a Hoosier. I've got a girlfriend, a dog (who's curled up next to me sleeping...aww), I like to golf, play college football on the 360, and I'm also trying to quit smoking. Even though I go to Purdue, I am the world's biggest University of Oregon fan (was going to go there for college, but stayed home for my girlfriend, which might be a regret later in life, but oh well). I have extremely weak wrists, knees, left ankle, and am nearly blind in my left eye, but I try to stay mildly positive.

Back in December of this past year, I accompanied Tuner4Life to Pepperell, MA to pick up lots of 9000 parts from MikeD. Although Mike wasn't there, his dad showed us the garage and talked with us for a bit. His parents are really nice people and his dog was cool as hell.

Welcome from Central Pennsylvania - Home to the great "SAABs at CARLISLE" car show - coming in MAY 2010. Why not bring school friends and start a road trip to the show ? You could be in the race for who drives the furtherest to attend the Carlisle show !

My condolences on the whole Indiana relocation. My granny was bred and born in Chicago and forever hated her exiled retirement in Plymouth, Indiana.

Welcome to the 'link. You should start checking eBay for the two-door NG900s. I think I've seen several go through there recently. Can't remember if they were turbo or NA though.

That's where we first moved to was Plymouth. Now, we live about 10 min away in a town called Bremen.
